NICAL:Thermocouple simulater
NICAL  'K/R' or 'K/S' Thermocouple Simulator is a rugged, battery powered,  portable, accurate  and easy to use calibration unit.
It is designed for use in foundries, usually as a 2 thermocouple checking device Thermocouple cold junction compensation is automatic.
Up  to  12 check temperatures may be  specified, covering several thermocouple types Typical NICAL specification for use in the Iron foundry: 		 
nical, thermal simulator, temperature measurement, digital thermometers

Temperature output :

  • 0, 600, 1130 & 1230 C (or 50, 1100, 2070 & 2250 F) for NiCr/NiAl Type 'K68' or 'K48' thermocouple · 0, 600, 1250 & 1500 C (or 50, 1100, 2300 & 2750 F) for Pt10%Rh/Pt Type 'S68' or 'S48' thermocouple or for Pt13%Rh/Pt Type 'R68' or 'R48'.
    Other temperatures may be specified

Accuracy : +/- 1 deg C (F).
Ambient Temperature Range : 0 to 45 deg. C
Power supply : 2 x PP3 batteries, in rear mounted battery drawers; Battery check indication.
Included :
1. Type 'K' lead & compensated jack plug with crocodile/alligator clips
2. Type 'B', 'R', or 'S' lead & jack plug with dipping assembly connector
3. Type 'B','E','J','K','N','R','S' or 'T' lead and jack plug with crocodile/alligator clips
4. Calibration Certificate traceable to U.K. National Standards SPECIFY:- Type'B','E','J','K','N','R','S' or 'T' thermocouple IPTS'48, IPTS'68 or ITS'90 and temperatures, for each thermocouple also degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin.
